Shufflin' for Sen. Prentice

Last Saturday more than 50 union members gathered for the Labor to Neighbor walk in support of Sen. Margarita Prentice and Gov. Chris Gregoire. We visited with union members in the 11th District to tell them about our endorsed candidates. Sen. Prentice was thrilled with the show of support from labor and promised to remember our efforts on her behalf. Special kudos to Sandy Duron from the Seattle Field Office who participated in the Labor to Neighbor program for the very first time. It was a lot of fun! The best part was that virtually every union member we talked to was really nice and supportive, and we felt like we really made a difference. Here is a picture of Sandy and Sen. Prentice, along with a suspicious-looking interloper. -- Dennis
